 I've been attending Cabrillo since 2007 and I'm only one semester away from transferring! I've been playing music, in one form or another, since I was a young child and love every aspect of it. I plan on majoring in music with a focus in recording technology from CSUMB. I moved to Santa Cruz in 1996 but was born in a town about 30 minutes east of L.A. proper. Thats about it...... O ya and I'm 22

In case you can't see, it says that Chenelle is the leader, Chante is the co-leader, Collin is the recorder, Jarred is the harmonizer, Jorge is the devil's advocate, and Teagan is the time keeper.

Jarred Bachan

My name is Jarred William Bachan.  I was born in Watsonville on November 7th, 1990. I am someone who enjoys being active daily.  My main hobbies are surfing and hunting.  I am also a pretty avid sports fan and stay up to date on all sports.  Overall i am a pretty laid back guy.

Chante` Pino

My name is Chante` Pino. Don't forget the accent! I'm only 19 years old so i'm the youngest of the group. Yay me! I was born in Manteca, moved to the bay area when I was in third grade, and just recently moved to Santa Cruz a year ago. I have a big family and I'm one of 5 kids. I'm also the middle child. I have 2 dogs named Doofy and Daphney, and I think of them as my children. In my spare time I like to go to the races with my boyfriend and bet on which car will win. I live a pretty good life, and have no complaints.

Teagan Chambers

My name is Teagan and I am 20 years old, and have been going to Cabrillo since 2008. I was born in New Zealand but moved to the states when I was 1 year old so I don't remember living there, however I do get to go back and visit every once in a while when I visit family in Australia. I grew up in Thousand Oaks, CA until I was 14 and moved to Scotts Valley for my Dad's job. I played soccer for 13 years (and was a goalie for 10 of them) and no longer play, but I do help coach my brother's U19 team. I have been going to Cabrillo for my GE and plan on transferring next fall to major in Behavior Science. I love to travel and hope to live in Italy or Australia for part of my life.

Chenelle Becking




I was born September 1st, 1986 in Orange County California, my family moved to Santa Cruz in 1989. I am the middle child of three girls, I love to be physically active and currently play on two soccer teams. I attended Scotts Valley schools until I graduated from Scotts Valley High School in 2004. From there I enrolled in Cabrillo but dropped out to work full time and live on my own. After working full time until 2007 I decided I wanted to get and education but couldn't decide on a major so I came back to Cabrillo and have been taking GE classes since then as well as working full time. I now live in Capitola with by boyfriend and a house mate and have decided to transfer to San Jose State next fall with Liberal Studies as my major specializing in Elementary Education.

Jorge's Biography

1984- I was born on the 20th day of August in Morelia, Michoacan. I grew up in Watsonville, CA and lived there since the age of one year old.

2001- Graduated from Renaissance High School and enrolled to Cabrillo College the same year.

2003- I dropped out of Cabrillo College to work fulltime as a carpenter apprentice.

2004- Joined the U.S Army infantry division and after basic training went for a tour overseas.

2005- Arrived at Watsonville, CA to visit family and to married my High School sweet heart and moved to our own apartment to the city of Santa Cruz, CA. Thirty days after, I had to go back and complete my duties overseas for the U.S Army.

2008- My enlistment contract ended with the U.S Army and decided not to enroll for further services. Went back home to Santa Cruz, CA to my wife and continued working fulltime as a journel level carpenter for Dastrup Construction Company located in Boulder Creek, CA.

2010- Decided to stop working as a carpenter and aim to become a Civil Engineer. That same year I enrolled back to Cabrillo College.
